ABOUT Y...

Hi, babes! It's me, Limarys! Well, you know me better as "Y". I think it's catchy so I like it too....
As many of you know, Y boutique was established in 2008, in my hometown of Humacao, PR. It's the place where I grew up and have cherished all my childhood memories!!! 
Maybe you don't know this, but my first job was at a Bank. Yeap, a Bank! I was a Sales Representative Officer and, honestly, I really liked it. 
But I always dreamed of having my own business, something glamorous and passionate. Something I could do naturally.  
This is when I thought about having a clothing store, a place where every woman with good sense of style could find their inner model (hahaha) and use the streets as their own runway. 
But opening the store out of nowhere, the thoughts of  "I don't know if this is gonna' work" was clouding this perfect dream. 
And even though these negatives vibes were always in the way, I made it!! My family and friends helped and support me and, little did I know, my life was going to be turned upside down!! 
In no time, social media, Facebook and Instagram became my "best friends".  People from all over the Island and US visited me every week just to have something from my "kioskito" ❤️  Successful years passed by and, finally, with the help of my lovely boyfriend, I opened my second store in beautiful Old San Juan on February 2019.
It's been a hectic ride, but it's so satisfying to finally do what I love!!
I'm grateful to all of my customers and their day to day support! It's all thanks to you!
